The Farberware 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker Review
The Farberware 7-in-1 Pressure Cooker is a versatile kitchen appliance that
After opening the device, I have to say that it gives an amazing first impression. It has a sleek, modern design and is about 13 inches tall. It weighs just over 12 pounds, which is lighter than most comparable models, so it's nice to be able to move it around without too much trouble.
I love the fact that this versatile appliance can be used for so many different things. It can be used not only as a pressure cooker, but also as a multicooker and a steamer. It would be nice if there were some recipes in the user manual, but it is not necessary.
Many consumers have struggled with the lack of information in the owner's manual, and figuring out how to use it as a slow cooker is often a matter of trial and error. It was nice to see that the unit comes with a stainless steel steaming rack, so that's one less accessory to buy.
The Farberware 7-in-1 Programmable Pressure Cooker does the job well, but it has its quirks. For example, the nine preset functions are handy, but I wish they told you the pressure levels for each one, in case you want to cook something that isn't listed in the owner's manual.
Many of my recipes call for simple meals, Beef or Chicken. I recommended browning your meat before using the pressure cooker. Tomato sauce doesn’t blend well with the cooker. In the cooker, it will separate as a result of the heat.
With all that said, it produces delicious food. When you get home from the office or drop off the kids, the last thing you want to do is spend hours over a hot oven trying to make dinner. Overall, your diet will be healthier if you cook with this appliance.
